Volunteer - Marketing - Social Media Specialist
The Social media specialists will focus on creating appealing and creative digital content for a company’s various social media platforms. You will be a part of the Business Development organization and will work closely with the digital marketing team to generate a social media marketing strategy that will promote customer engagement and brand awareness. You will also monitor all social media to identify customer trends, competitive trends, and world events that are pertinent to our company. You'll analyze, synthesize, and summarize your observations and report them for possible action.
Creating content for social media posts.
Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Performing other duties when needed.
Fully remote team
Unpredictable workloads (weeks of hardly anything then days of unlimited work)
Social media experience personal or including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting.
Written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
Experience using various analytics software.
Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and LinkedIn.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
