At Eden Grow Systems, we are a fast-growing startup in the agricultural technology sector, dedicated to providing sustainable food and energy independence to local communities around the world. We use the open source ERP tool known as Odoo for all financial transactions and accounting work. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all financial operations in order to support our growth and mission.
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the company, overseeing all financial operations, and ensuring financial systems are in place to support our growth and mission. You will work closely with the CEO, CRO, COO/CTO, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company's overall strategy and vision, while ensuring we achieve our mission to provide sustainable food and energy independence to local communities around the world.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership to the company, with a focus on optimizing financial performance and achieving our mission.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support growth and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
Manage the company's financial risk, including credit, liquidity, and operational risk.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, using the Odoo ERP tool for all financial transactions and accounting work.
Develop and implement financial and operational metrics to monitor and improve performance.
Oversee accounting and tax compliance to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, using the Odoo ERP tool for all financial transactions and accounting work.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
Identify and execute on strategic financial opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.

Must Have
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
15+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
Experience in managing financial risk, including credit, liquidity, and operational risk.
Proven track record of developing and implementing financial plans and strategies that align with a company's mission or purpose.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
Experience working with open source ERP tools such as Odoo is a plus.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment is a plus.
